Junior Riders Level 2
45 minutes riding + 15 minutes pony awareness.
These sessions are for riders who have attained level I or who have been individually assessed and found to be of this level.
During these sessions riders will be assisted at trot when required but on a basis that allows for more independent rider participation and development.
Junior riders will work to further develop the skills they attained at level I, this will include pony games to develop confidence and learning.
The pony awareness session will include mounting and dismounting, leading and handling ponies, tack, points of the pony and much much more. Riders beware, homework may be given!
Sessions are conducted in either our indoor or outdoor arenas, depending on the weather conditions, ensuring our riders can ride in comfort regardless of our climate. We have excellent facilities for accompanying adults and other family members, complimentary tea and coffee is available whilst you watch the riding activity taking place.
Assessment sessions are held regularly to ensure young riders who have developed the necessary skills can make a smooth transfer into the next level. It should be noted that all riders develop at different rates and no pressure will be placed on any rider to progress to further levels. We are a non elitist establishment that encourages learning through fun and safety.
Individual assessment will be required for direct entry to this level.
Prices
£99.00 per pre paid block of 6 sessions.
£20.00 per individual session when available.
10% family discount for 2 or more riders, please ask when booking.
