Saddle-fitting and trials of the Freedom range of holistic Semiflex saddles are offered at Hogholm Stables, under an Agency agreement with Barrie Swain of Semiflex Saddles Ltd.

These saddles are used and recommended by top level trainers, instructors and competition riders in every equestrian discipline. They are used extensively and successfully in the veterinary treatment and rehabilitation of horses that have suffered from physiological, and frequently psychological, problems caused by badly fitting saddles.

The Semiflex saddle is unique. Utilising a flexible tree which allows the horse’s spine to flex and muscles to develop, it provides optimum comfort for your horse and security for you, the rider.

Barrie Swain's saddles were the first to be certified Holistic under a national veterinary schemeoperated by the British Association of Holistic Nutrition and Medicine (BAHNM). The scheme, run in collaboration with the Trading Standards Department, provides a method of identifying products made to a specific Quality Standard.

Semiflex Saddles Ltd is a Walsall-based company which cherishes the bespoke standards of English saddle-making traditions. Importantly, each Semiflex saddle is constructed entirely by hand by a single craftsman under the personal supervision of Barrie Swain, whose passion for the uncompromising quality and the welfare of the horse is evident in each and every saddle.
